Villarreal, Milan a long way off Chukwueze asking price.

Serie A giant AC Milan and La Liga club Villarreal are far away in the valuation of Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze.

According to reports in Spain, Milan are still a massive €10m off the valuation set by Villarreal for Chukwueze.

The 24-year-old right-sided winger has agreed personal terms and would like to join the Rossoneri this summer, especially as it will give him Champions League football.

However, there are two major problems that make this an extremely difficult deal to get done.

Reports in Spain suggest the verbal offer made by the Serie A giants is €25m including add-ons.

However, the asking price set by Villarreal is €35m, so the difference is far too big to resolve quickly.

The other concern is that they only have one spot left in the squad for non-EU players and Nigeria international Chukwueze does not have a European passport.

On the other hand, there is hope in that his current contract with Villarreal only runs to June 2024, so they risk losing him as a free agent next year.
