Remo Stars boosted their title hopes with a 2-1 comeback win over Rivers United in Ikenne on Monday.

Former Remo Stars forward, Andy Okpe gave the visitors the lead from the spot in the 16th minute of the rescheduled matchday 22 encounter.

The scoreline remained static for the remainder of the first half.

Enterprising midfielder Hadi Haruna tapped home the equaliser from a low Franck Mawuena’s cross in 68 minutes.
