Bayelsa United recorded the only away victory of matchday 13 in the NPFL as the victory was marred by the disturbing unruly behavior of fans.


The Prosperity boys picked the maximum points at stake by defeating Wikki Tourist by 2-1 in Bauchi on Sunday to make back-to-back victories in the league. 


It was alleged that Bayelsa United's media officer, David Ekpela as Club Chairman, Ebiki Timitimi sustained bruises while Cameran was detained and forced to delete his images/shots as players and officials were attacked by the home fans protesting a goal disallowed by the Assistant Referee. 

While we await the Interim Management Committee, IMC, the body in charge of the league's reaction, the result that pushed Bayelsa United out of danger of being relegated at least for now. 


Elsewhere in Ibadan, Remo Stars pulled a 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars to continue the traditions of draws anytime both teams meet in Ibadan, it's now fine draws on the bounce between Remo Stars and Shooting Stars in Ibadan.


This is one of five draws witnessed on the matchday as Akwa United was held by Nasarawa United to a pulsating 2-2 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. 


The remaining draws took place in Akure, Minna, and Edo as Sunshine Stars played 1-1 with Rangers, and it ended in a barren draw between Niger Tornadoes while Kwara United held Bendel Insurance to a 1-1. 


Meanwhile, in Markurdi, Lobi Stars condemned Abia Warriors to consecutive losses with a comfortable 2-0 victory. 

Enyimba also boosted their chances of making the Super Six with a 2-1 victory over Plateau United and Gombe UUnited compoundedElkanemi's woes with an ane-goal victory. 

On Saturday Dakkada eased past Doma United by 1-0 in Uyo.


The next round of matches continues on Wednesday at various centers as the chase for points by teams continues.
