NPFL: Insurance beats Elkanemi to record first win in 6 matches, remain unbeaten in 15 games

After six consecutive draws Bendel Insurance rediscovered their winning Mojo on Saturday by defeating Elkanemi Warriors 2-1 in the week 15 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL match played at the Samuel Ogbemudia  Stadium in Benin.
 

Though still unbeaten in the league after fifteen matches, the Benin Arsenals are yet to win any of their last five games leading to the match playing a stalemate in all but the victory against the Warriors changed the story and made It their first win in their last six NPFL matches.

Bendel Insurance consolidated their stay on top of the log in group A with 31 points, they only needed three points in the last three games of the season to book a place in the season-ending Super Six as 34 points will guarantee them a top 3 finish.


The defeat condemned El Kanemi to their 10th defeat of the season after 15 games which left them rooted at the bottom. of the group with nine points as relegation steers them in the face.
