NPFL: Its draw between Heartland and Pillars as Enyimba beats 3SC

Enyimba International of Aba beat old rival Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan a.k.a 3SC 1-0 to claim on all three points at Aba Township Stadium.

Elsewhere, Heartland and Kano Pillars shared honours.

Chijioke Mbaoma scored the winning goal as Enyimba defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 20 encounter on Saturday.

Mbaoma netted the decisive goal a minute before the break.

The striker was also on target in Enyimba’s 2-1 win against the same opponents in Ibadan in the last match of the first stanza.

In the other game of the day, Heartland held Kano Pillars to a 1-1 draw.

Pillars took the lead through Ibrahim Mustapha a minute before the half-hour mark.

Malachi Ohawume equalised for the home team in stoppage time.
