VIDEO: Super Eagles will be better against Sudan-Ekong
While many fans are still raving over the Super Eagles' bright start against Egypt at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, the on-field captain of the team, William Troost Ekong has promised even a better display against Sudan on Saturday.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will confirm their berth in the Round of 16 if they scoop all three points against Sudan in their second match of Group B at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Saturday evening.
Speaking with the NFF media team, Ekong assured on an improved display from all the players.
All 26 players (bar the injured defender Chidozie Awaziem) were on duty on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with Head Coach Augustine Eguavoen telling the boys clearly that they are yet to win anything, but on the way to doing great things if they keep level heads.
