For the WBC heavyweight title, Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) blasted out Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) in the sixth round with a huge uppercut.

Whyte came out in a southpaw stance, jabbing Fury and coming forward. Fury was taking his time, feeling out Whyte and circling. Not much landed by either, with Whyte connecting with a few body shots. Fury began to pick things up in the second. Whyte continued to jab to the body, but Fury was now firing back more often and connecting.

In the third, Fury was outboxing Whyte, who was throwing very wild swings. In the fourth, Whyte was cut around his right eye from a clash of heads. Whyte was warned numerous times for fouls. During the fifth, the action was close, with Fury landing the more effective punches. 


Fury's jab and boxing ability was ruling the day in the sixth. During the round, Fury landed a big uppercut that send Whyte crashing down hard. Whyte barely made it up, but he was out of his feet, stumbling to the ropes and the fight was quickly waved off.
