Former Super Eagles player and Enyimba of Aba coach, Finidi George has threatened to leave Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)after witnessing another poor officiating in Owerri.

The Enyimba tactician in a tear-laden voice called on journalists to report what they see at different venues in Nigeria's professional football league saying football can not grow this way.

Finidi in an interview he granted after the loss to Heartland in Owerri asked journalists whether they watched the match and they should report what they see

‘Did you watch the match, If I say something then I am leaving this league, you cannot play football this way and expect to get another result and that is what we are experiencing Nationwide’

‘You all saw the game and I am not going to comment about that, winning or not winning it should be better and games like this should be better and I wish you guys are doing a better job, you all watch the game and it is not about coaching, it is not about anything, the league should be better than this"

“Is it right what is happening, journalists should write about what they are seeing in different centres across the country, football is dying’

Finidi has been under intense pressure after not too impressive results in their last six matches which has raised questions about his capability
