Remo Stars defeated Bendel Insurance by 1-0 on Sunday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena to grab one of the two CAF Champions League tickets at stake.
Qudus Akanni arrived on time to give Remo Stars their second win at the end of the season championship playoff, Super Six, which condemned the Benin Arsenals to their only second loss of the season which effectively ended their continental ticket chase ambition.
The goal also ensure that the Ikenne-based team scored in all their matches played at the Super 6, and ended the competition without a loss with a CAF Champions League ticket to show for their effort.
