Niger Tornadoes will kick off their 2023 season on Sunday away to Wikki Tourist at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium by 4 pm and David Okoromi of Niger Tornadoes is already looking beyond that matfair-skinnedams of a fantastic season ahead. 

The fair-skinned is confident the Ikon Allah Boys will spring surprises this season as the team has their eyes on making the Super six.

The former ABS of Ilorin goal poacher who linked up with Niger Tornadoes for this season's NPFL campaign spectacularly starts this season ready to kick start this season spectacularly. 

"I'm a new player in the team and there are other attackers whom I believe if we get it right collectively, I'm sure our target for the season which is Super Six appearance will be achieved". Okoromi told the club media .

"The team struggled in the area of goal scoring last season, until the likes of Jonas Emmanuel came in their improved the scoring ratio. I'm ready to complement there effort".

Okoromi who last played in the NPFL as a younger pexposureith ABS of Ilorin has gained more experienced and exposed.

He featured in all the pre-season competitions the Ikon Allah Boys took part in and showed glimpses of what to expeccolorse season proper when he file out in the Tornadoes colours. 

Meanwhile, this contest between Kabiru Dogo (Wikki) and Abubakar Bala Mohammed (Tomosts) had always been a keenly contested battle, with mostly, a slim margin of scoreline. 

Last season, Wikki's 86th-minuten the first leg one nill, while Musa Wakili's 86th minute solitary goal gave Tornadoes the age in the reverse fixture.
