NPFL: Lobi look good to overwhelm 3SC as Rangers faces Abia Warriors

Second placed Lobi Stars host Shooting Stars who have emerged as the biggest threat to their hopes of reclaiming the top spot in a Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 11 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Lobi Stars who have the highest away points (five) in the NPFL are desperate to return to winning ways following their 1-0 loss to Enyimba last Sunday while the Oluyole Warriors will bid to extend their unbeaten run to four games in the encounter.

In their home record against Rangers, Abia Warriors have been excellent, unbeaten against their South-East brothers.

Abia Warriors, so far this season, have won their four home games, putting them in a better position against Rangers in the contest.

Rangers, this season, have thrown away leads thrice in their last four away games, with two ending in draws. Abia Warriors are one of the best defensive teams this season, as they have conceded just once in four games.

Sunshine Stars who are without a win in their last three matches host Sporting Lagos in Akure. This is the first competitive meeting between these teams, though their current form looks similar.

The Noisy Lagosians have lost on the road to two South-west opponents, both 2-1, to Kwara United and Remo Stars.
