Marseille are all in on Nigerian forward Terem Moffi as their winter transfer main target. According to Foot Mercato, OM has not only made an oral offer to club president Loïc Fery, but after discussions with Emeka Obasi, the agent of the Lorient striker, they have also made an oral offer to the player.

Moffi has also had interest from Premier League clubs especially West Ham and Ligue 1’s Nice.

However, he wishes to stay in France. Nice were the frontrunners to land the striker until OM stepped into the picture. Les Aiglons has already made 4 offers, including the last of €22 million including bonus, rejected.

Making matters worse for Nice, Marseille may have the upper hand in the deal for the Ligue 1’s second-leading scorer by sweetening the pot to include Bamba Dieng into the deal who is reportedly keen on the move. This could possibly lower the transfer fee for Moffi and offer a replacement for his departure from the Brittany-based club.
