Finidi George to complete two-year Enyimba contract
Finidi is set to complete his two years contract with the Peoples' Elephant despite not doing well enough in his first season with the Aba Landlords

Enyimba gaffer, Finidi George needs not to grow grey hairs over his future at the club after feelers from Aba revealed that the former Mallorca star will be allowed to complete the second year of his contract.
The two-time CAF Champions League winners signed on the former Nigeria international as Technical Adviser of the club on a two-year deal with the hope of returning the club to winning ways, but Enyimba's failure to secure a continental ticket has again raised fears that Finidi might be given the boot.
Enyimba International punched below its weight in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), finishing seventh on the log with 52 points to miss out on a continental ticket.
But 234sportsng.com decent source revealed that Enyimba has no intention of pulling the plug on Finidi's two-year deal.
" I can confidently tell you that Enyimba is not planning to sack Finidi George, that is not part of the club antecedent. He will surely see his contract through no matter what.
" Besides, Finidi is a big figure and he cannot just be pushed out just like that. I can assure you his job is safe," the source revealed.
