Countdown to World Indoor Championships: Team Nigeria send six athletes to Belgrade
Many Nigeria greats like Falilat Ogunkoya, Sunday Bada, Olusoji Fasuba, Gloria Alozie and others have excelled in the World Championships in the past.
Team Nigeria hope to continue her tradition of excellence at the World Athletics Indoor Championships which holds in Belgrade, Serbia from March 18-20, 2022.
To continue the culture success, the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) is taking the following to Belgrade; World and Olympics long jump medallist Ese Brume, Ruth Usoro, the reigning NCAA indoor champion in the triple jump and the 4x400m quartet of Sikiru Adeyemi, Ifeanyi Ojeli, Nathaniel Samson and Timonthy Emeoghene.
