CAF Cup: Dreams FC call gets royal blessings ahead of Rivers United clash

Dreams Football Club has paid a courtesy call on Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The visit on Wednesday, November 29, forms part of activities ahead of the game between Dreams FC and Rivers United in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The game against Rivers United will be played at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

After the visit to the Asantehene, Dreams FC says the club is motivated ahead of the game against the Nigerian side.

“We were inspired by the powerful words of encouragement from the Asantehene on our visit to Manhyia Palace earlier this afternoon,” Dreams FC said in a post on X, formerly called Twitter.

The game between Dreams Football Club and Rivers United is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm on Sunday.

Dreams FC are hoping to secure a win after losing the first group game in the CAF Confederation Cup.
