Insurance returned to the premier league in 2019 after ten years in relegation but were not in the same group with Akwa Utd in the abridged League which was not favourable to all the four promoted clubs as the Benin Arsenal immediately returned to the second tier League.

The Benin Arsenals are again made to play in another abridged format this season but have been working hard and have fortified their side in a bid to avoid a repeat of the 2019 setback.

Insurance finished as best and champions of the Nigeria National League NNL campaign last year and they are in the premier league to fight for permanehonors and as well vie for honours.

Speaking ahead to the Sunday game,Insurance stand-in captain Efe Enabulele said," We
have respect for theare  2020/21 NPFL champions but not afraid of our host or any other team in the League. We will be approaching the game with confidence and strength".

Onwards another hand, Akwa United was not fantastic in their last season campaign as they were in 2021 but that will not make Insurance complacent and
underestimate the Promise Keepers who will be enjoying the cheers from the supporter's fans and other home support.

The game however promises to be explosive and bring out the best in Insurance FC.
