Besiktas, Everton want Iheanacho

Turkish giants Besiktas have reportedly made an offer for Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho with the Nigerian’s future at the club up in the air.
Besiktas want a new forward this summer with star striker Cenk Tosun currently injured and with their campaign kicking off sooner than most.
After finishing third in the Turkish Super Lig last season, they will enter the Europa Conference League, but have to start in the second qualifying round, which begins on July 29.
Turkish outlet Star say Iheanacho is a player they have targeted, putting forward a loan offer, including a fee of €2m. That would unlikely convince City, who will want to sell Iheanacho for a decent fee if he is to leave.
The 26-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium and that puts him in a position where he could exit the club.
City won’t want to lose him for free next summer, which means he would either have to be sold or sign a new contract, with the latter option unlikely with the club in the Championship and needing to cut wages.
City may feel inclined to part with Iheanacho too, given they have two other strikers in their squad. New manager Enzo Maresca has already confirmed that Jamie Vardy will be staying, while Patson Daka is on a long contract.

He has now been with City for six seasons since his £25m move from Manchester City. He has 206 appearances and 55 goals to his name.
Twenty-four of those goals have come across the FA Cup, League Cup, and Europe, making him the leading cup goalscorer in City’s history by some distance, nine ahead of second-placed Mike Stringfellow.
According to Tribal Football, Everton are one of the leading Premier League clubs in the race for the 26-year-old forward.
Iheanacho is one of the many Foxes players who are likely to leave the Midlands outfit in the summer after their relegation.
The Nigerian international had a fairly solid, if unspectacular season last time round, netting five times in the Premier League in eleven starts. Not exactly earth-shattering.
