Africa Men Senior Handball Championship: Nigeria secure big win over Senegal
This is the second win for Coach Rafiu Salami and his men in Egypt
Nigeria made it two wins on the bounce as they defeated Senegal 31-22 in a classification match on Saturday at the 25th Africa Men Senior Handball Championship in Egypt.
The Golden Arrows started the match like a house on fire scoring swift fast goals and the tenacity of Senegal, who, unlike the Zambians took the game by the horn, Coach Rafiu Salami side edged out their opponent 13-9 in the first half.
The second half pretty much panned out as the first half did with Nigeria outscoring the Senegalese to end the 31-22.
Nigeria will play Gabon on Sunday in another placement match.
