The Super Eagles coach was on the ground at the Samuel Ognemudia Stadium on Saturday as Bendel Insurance failed to score for the first time this season in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, www.234sportsng.com reports
The exploit of some Bemdel Insurance players in the league might have informed the decision of coach to be on the ground for a first-hand assessment of their top players like Imade Osarenkoh and Seriki Ismail.
The two players have been a twin terror in the Bendel Insurance FC attack as the duo has scored seven of Bendel's 9 goals this season.
Before the game, Imade scored in the first four consecutive games despite playing in the elite league for the first time.
While Seriki Ismael has three goals, and he has been providing the needed support Imade needs upfront while the duo combines to wreck their opponents in the NPFL.
The coach was accompanied by the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and former Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen.
Coach Peseiro has never hidden his admiration for the talents in the NPFL as he has handed a couple of players in the league their debut in the few games he has played as Super Eagles coach.
Gombe United stopped the five games winning of Bendel Insurance while Imade fired blank in two consecutive games having scored four goals in the first four games of the season, propelling the Benin Arsenals to 16 points on top of the group A table.
