An account of Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen’s daily routine in the city of Napoli has been given to Gazzetta delol Sport, including a number of his favourite spots in the city and his frequent trips to London and Paris.
Osimhen lives with his partner Stephanie and daughter Hayley in Viale Costa on the quiet and scenic hills of Posillipo overlooking the Gulf of Napoli.
He doesn’t choose to go out particularly often, but when he does, he can usually be found in church or visiting his barber.
In Napoli more than anywhere else in Italy, it is difficult for Osimhen to leave home without being mobbed by large crowds of fans hopeful of snapping a quick selfie with the Partenopei’s star striker.
The 24-year-old opts to keep his family out of the limelight, with no photos of his partner or child posted anywhere on social media.
Even walking his dog is off limits, although there was one occasion where the large mixed-breed, whom he rescued from the streets, escaped out of the front gate.
By the time Osimhen and his canine returned, an entourage of around 20 people had already started to follow him home.
The Nigerian international’s favourite restaurant is the Ristorante Sharon in via Torino, owned by compatriot Erbor Patience, who along with his family have been invited to games at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Osimhen’s invitation.
On his days off, Osimhen enjoys visiting London and Paris, cities in which he can walk down the streets almost unrecognised.
Within Napoli, he enjoys the Vatso district of the city, particularly around the central station, an area typically inhabited by many people from the continent of Africa.
Osimhen has been reported to have donated food and money to the homeless people in the region.
With constant rumours circulating over his long-term future with Napoli, it is uncertain how much longer Osimhen will have to enjoy his time in the city of Napoli.
