NPFL: Enyimba win record-extending ninth title in Lagos

Enyimba International clinched the Nigeria Premier Football League title for an incredible ninth time in their illustrious history after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Rivers United in the thrilling final game of the Super Six tournament held in Lagos.
The stage was set for an epic showdown as the two powerhouses of Nigerian football collided in a match that would determine the league champions.
From the first whistle, it was evident that both teams were determined to leave no stone unturned in their quest for glory.
Enyimba struck first in the 39th minute, sending their passionate fans into a frenzy. Ekene Awazie rose to the occasion, delivering a scintillating strike that found the back of the net, giving the People's Elephant the lead.

For Enyimba's manager, George Finidi, this triumph marks his first title with the Aba Landlords.
