Mane reportedly fined £422,000 for clash with Sane as Tuchel wants everyone to move on

Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to move on from the row between Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane

Tuchel believes the case is now closed after Mane apologised for his part in the row with Bayern Munich team-mate Leroy Sane.

Former Liverpool star Mane has been suspended and fined by Bayern after he hit Sane in the changing room following the 3-0 loss at Manchester City in the first leg of their quarter-final tie in the Champions League.

Sane suffered a cut to his lip in the altercation and the two had to be separated by teammates after they were spotted arguing on the pitch late in the game.

Mane will miss Bayern's game against Hoffenheim on Saturday as part of his punishment and his future is rumoured to be unclear with the German giants.

"I am the first one to defend Sadio. I have known him a long time and I know him as a top pro," Tuchel told a news conference. "He is football pure. He has my deepest trust after the mistake he made."

"Everyone can make a mistake. It went against the team's code of conduct. That's clear."

A report from GOAL claimed that Mane will receive a fine of roughly £422,000 for his indiscretion.
