Hoards of Arsenal fans storm North London in hunt for Saka’s memorabilia

Arsenal fans descended on north London this morning in the hope of finding a limited edition Bukayo Saka poster.

Seven signed posters of the winger were hidden in and around the Emirates Stadium area, with fans instructed to find them.

Supporters were put on red alert when the club posted cryptic messages that suggested that something was coming, while football enthusiasts hinted at the whereabouts of the sought-after artwork.

Popular locations such as Highbury Grove, Finsbury Park station, and Tollington Road were hotspots for those hunting the memorabilia.

The first poster was found at around 10 am - shortly after its whereabouts were revealed to hundreds of thousands of supporters by some of Arsenal’s biggest fans including Frimpon, Nicole Holliday, and Chris MD.

And it didn't take supporters long to find the remaining pieces of art adorned by Saka.

Emad and Marianne Nasserian, two of the lucky Gunners who managed to bag one, added the poster to their football memorabilia collection, which has been gathered from 22 countries.

Emad said: "Arsenal is my favourite team - so it is great to add this to my collection.

"We have a room at home for football things from many clubs and this will be going on the wall."

Persil and Arsenal teased 'The Autograph, starring Bukayo Saka' on social media earlier this week.

The release date on the poster was March 28 - this Thursday.

However, the project is yet to be fully revealed by the club.

Saka has been a key player for Arsenal this season as the Gunners seek their first Premier League title in 20 years.

In 37 games the winger has scored 16 goals and provided 13 assists.

Mikel Arteta's side currently sit at the top of the Premier League table.
