It's hard to imagine that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has only been at Barcelona for 80 days.

The Catalan club announced the signing of the Gabonese on February 2 and less than three months later he is already boasting a record to be proud of.

The attacker has adapted to the team in record time, not even needing a few weeks of pre-season to acclimatise, and he has specialised in opening the scoreline of games.

He looks very comfortable and happy in the Blaugrana shirt.

It was clear to Barcelona in the winter transfer window that they needed a goalscorer with an immediate return to put an end to the team's problems in front of goal, and they rushed to the deadline in search of the ideal profile.

In the end, Auba arrived and the Gabonese striker is doing a great job and is on course to finish the season as the top scorer.

He has scored ten goals in almost three months, five of which have opened the scoring.

Against Valencia, he scored after 20 minutes; against Athletic Club, he celebrated in the 37th minute; against Real Madrid, he scored the first goal at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in the 29th minute; against Levante, he scored in the 59th minute; and against Real Sociedad, he scored the only goal of the game.

Thursday's goal at the Reale Arena, which came after 11 minutes, helped the team to three golden points in the fight for second place in LaLiga Santander, as well as the Champions League.

Curiously, whenever Aubameyang has found the net, the team has won.

Another significant fact is that Aubameyang has more success as an away player than at Camp Nou.

Only two of his ten goals have come in front of the home fans, against Athletic and Osasuna, both in LaLiga.

The rest have always been away goals, either in the regular season or in the Europa League, where he scored against Napoli and Galatasaray.

If Aubameyang continues in this vein, he will finish the season as the team's top scorer.

He still has six games left to finish the season and to increase his tally, and he has been in a state of grace since the day he arrived.

Xavi trusts the striker and he has become one of the fixed players at the front of the attack for the team.

Right now, the top scorer is still Memphis Depay, despite the injury he suffered that kept him away from the pitch for several weeks.

The Dutchman has 11 goals in all competitions, one more than Aubameyang.

The Oranje international has made 31 appearances, while Aubameyang, who arrived in February, has 17.
