Coach Felix Ifeanyi Nwosu popularly called Abacha has applied to coach the Nigeria U17 Football team, www.234sportsng.com reports.

This is in response to the Nigeria Football Federation's call for applications from qualified coaches for the vacant post.

The tactician with many years of experience, working with players at the grassroots, academies and youth clubs believes he has what it takes to be the next coach of the national male U17 team, the Golden Eaglet.

The former Right2Win and Delta Force coach then calls on the selectors to look his way as the coach of the team.

The 34-year-old Ex Gor Mahia of Kenya Player and FC Talanta tactician believes he is well prepared and ready for the task and he is ready to restore the team's lost glories.

"Working with youth clubs, and academies over the past couple of years has prepared me for the big stage," the coach told www.234sportsng.com

The coach continues: "Coaching young players is a calling and passion I have invested into over the years as coaching the Golden Eaglets is a dream and applying for the vacant job is a step towards making it a reality", coach Felix Nwosu said.

The Golden Eaglets have won the FIFA U17 World Cup five times in history but failed to qualify for the last edition under the tutelage of former Golden Eaglet captain Uduka Ugbade.

Coach Felix Nwosu presently works with Greatness Sporting Club, an NLO-1 club and has worked in talent discovery and nurturing capacities with many other youth clubs both in Nigeria and abroad.
