The Nigeria Nightmare, Kamaru Usman failed to his world welterweight title on Saturday as Champion, Leon Edward defeated him again in a majority decision.

Kamaru Usman lost the belt to the Briton last year which set up a rematch fight between both fighters but Kamaru failed to make it count as Leon Edwards edged him on  48-48-46, 47-47 on the judge's cards.

Kamaru Usman share his thought after the bout, he declared he is not done as he eyes another fight, Leon Edward.

"I think I did enough to win the fight but I knew it was close"

"He had a great gameplan. I always said from the start we'd meet again and I'm not done. We will see each other again".

"I always gave him props for what he's accomplished. He's a brother like myself and has great respect. London you've got yourself a great champion" Kamaru told BT Sport.

On his part,  the UFC welterweight champion Edwards speaks on his successful defense of the title: "He didn't get any takedowns I was landing cleaner shots. I took out his legs.

Leon went ahead to give props to Kamaru Usman's craftmanship on the Octagon in the bout.

"Thanks to Kamaru for being a great competitor.

"I couldn't get the kick around his head. He had the perfect defense. I was trying to set it up with kicks to the body and legs.

"I know it was a close fight so I knew I had to land the cleaner shots. He didn't land many clean on me. He just had lots of pressure" Edwards concludes.
