Super Eagles striker, Moffi scores in OG Nice's defeat

Terem Moffi registered his seventh goal of the season for his club OG Nice on Sunday evening but it was enough as Toulouse came from behind to win by 2-1, www.234sportsng.com reports

The Super Eagles opened scoring in the eight minutes to put OG Nice in the league against Toulouse in the Ligue One match played on Sunday at the Stade Municipal.

Moffi took maximum advantage after he tapped into an empty net from close range after the ball rebounded off the pole off a shot from outside the area with Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, beaten completely. 

Two quick goals in the second half from Toulouse saw the former Lorient goal count for zero points as OG Nice conceded their sixth defeat of the 2023/2024 season.

Thijs Dalinga brought the home team to parity in the 65th minute, and four minutes later Yann Gboho netted the winner. 

Terem Moffi played his 20th game of the season as OG Nice remained fifth after 24 games in the season with 40 points, on the trail of Monaco, sitting on third with 42 points.
