Champions League: Madrid will pay Dortmund €5m bonus for Bellingham and the German credit Man Utd with € 4m for Sancho

Real Madrid will have to pay €5m to Borussia Dortmund if they defeat them in the Champions League final.

On Wednesday, Real Madrid booked their place in a second Champions League final in three years, having secured an incredible comeback victory over Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side will head to Wembley Stadium on the 1st of June, where they will face Borussia Dortmund.

The match will see Jude Bellingham come up against his former side, and also on his home turf in England. He will be eyeing up a dream end to his debut season at Real Madrid, and if he can lead them to their 15th title in the competition, it would come with a pay-out at Los Blancos’ expense.

As reported by Sky Sports Germany, Real Madrid will have to pay €5m to Dortmund if they win the Champions League final, as per the add-ons in the agreement that saw the 20-year-old head to the Spanish capital last summer.

In total, Real Madrid could have to pay €30.9m to Dortmund as part of the extras in the Bellingham deal, although they would be delighted to part with that €5m next month if it means that they get their hands on title number 15.

Meanwhile, United are due another payment from Borussia Dortmund after Jadon Sancho helped the German side into the Champions League final.

The loan deal negotiated in January with Dortmund includes several add-ons -- capped at €4m ($4.3m) -- relating to appearances and progression in domestic fixtures and the Champions League. The initial loan cost Dortmund a fee of €3.5m.

Sancho has made 18 appearances and scored three goals since rejoining his former club and started both legs of the Champions League semifinal against Paris Saint-Germain.
