Ronaldo attitude branded inappropriate, disgraceful
Saha scolds Ronaldo
Former Manchester United star Louis Saha has admitted former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo has not been "appropriate" by asking to leave Manchester United.

SunSport exclusively revealed that Ronaldo has urged the Red Devils to name their price for him as he has an offer on the table.
And Saha, who won two Premier League titles with Ronaldo at United, has criticised CR7 for his attitude over the summer.

Ronaldo missed his scheduled return for pre-season before sitting out of the tour to Thailand and Australia due to family reasons.

He returned to Carrington this week to hold crunch talks over his future, where again he made it clear he wished to leave.

Ronaldo's call comes just as new boss Erik ten Hag is trying to build a project from scratch - and Saha believes the timing of his decision is inappropriate.
Speaking exclusively to SunSport, courtesy of bet365, Saha said on CR7: "He made it clear he wants to go, otherwise his actions and communication would have told another story.

"His priority should be to help Manchester United, and this doesn't appear to be the case at the moment.

"His dream is clearly the Champions League, and nobody can disrespect him for that.

"But he hasn't shown enough towards the Manchester United project and the current manager for my liking, it's not great."
While Saha told SunSport Ronaldo was the best player he played with throughout his 16-year career, the ex-striker believes CR7's attitude has been wrong in the off-season.

The ex-striker continued: "Pre-season is for all players. I don't know his personal problems, but I don't think it's appropriate to start like this with a new manager and a new project.

"He's still a top player and he can help the team massively, there' no doubt about that.

"That's why Manchester United want to keep him - but he hasn't shown the right attitude in my opinion."
And former England international Trevor Sinclair believes his attitude is having a negative effect on United's younger players.

“He's holding the club to ransom. Erik ten Hag is new in the job and it's a difficult situation for him to be in. But I don't want to see this. I don't want to see Manchester United as a huge club getting bullied. I think that's what Ronaldo's trying to do," Sinclair told talkSPORT.
