Real Madrid not ‘interested’ in Mbappe

PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid went their separate ways last May after the Frenchman chose to remain at Paris Saint-Germain.

Now, however, the Frenchman's name is once again being linked with Madrid, but unlike what happened on previous occasions, Los Blancos are not willing to waste time with the French player's games.

They are more willing to focus on the talent they already have if Mbappe isn't willing to partake in rational negotiations.

As happened when there was talk of the possible return of Cristiano Ronaldo, which was never contemplated by the club, the arrival of a player of Mbappe would mean a likely disruption of the hierarchy in the dressing, something that Madrid aren't keen on.

The future of Vinicius and him feeling good at the club is more important, so they won't disrupt the squad just for Mbappe to be happy.

No one at Real Madrid denies the quality of Mbappe, but overhauling the squad harmony isn't being considered, nor will any crazy wages be considered.

However, Marca reported on Sunday that no one of power within the La Liga side is willing to open the door and pursue the PSG star.

The Spanish outlet also says that rumors linking Mbappe to Real Madrid “are fireworks without gunpowder.”

Mbappe is under contract until 2025, so there’s no rush in him leaving as he plays out how the situation at PSG unfolds with Luis Campos as sporting advisor.
