PSG want Osimhen if tension with Messi and Neymar forces Mbappe to move to Madrid

Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is PSG's main target if Kylian Mbappe is forced to join Real Madrid because of rising tension with teammates, especially Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior.

 According to the French website Le 10 Sport, the 23-year-old Nigeria international is being considered by the Parisians as a likely replacement for Mbappé.

Current PSG - Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier, who worked with Osimhen at Lille, is keen to reunite with the Napoli star who is currently the leading scorer in the Italian Serie A.

The report also revealed SSC Napoli Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli met with PSG officials few days ago to discuss possible deals for Fabian Ruiz and Keylor Navas but a move for Osimhen was also talked over.

“PSG have opted for a Napoli player for next season and the identity has being revealed as Osimhen,” the report revealed.

“During the trip to Paris a few days ago, Giuntoli spoke not only of Fabian Ruiz and Navas with PSG, but also of Osimhen.’’

Another report revealed that, PSG also planned to table £300k Per-Week was for the Nigerian; all in a bid to lure him to the Park De Princes.

Rumours are intensifying around the future of Mbappé at PSG, Real Madrid has a clear position on this issue. Snubbed at the beginning of the year by the French international, the Spanish club does not intend to make any effort. In other words, the player will have to redeem himself after his decision.

The Mbappé soap opera should experience new twists in 2023. According to some rumors from Spain, the French international would regret his extension at PSG. At the same time, the Real Madrid option is back in the spotlight. 

But unlike last year, the Spanish club will not make an effort in this Mbappé file. As indicated by journalist Tomás González-Martín, the PSG star will have to regain the trust of Real Madrid.
