Ikhana cautions NFF over calls for Waldrum sack
The former Super Falcons coach has cautioned the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on the mounting calls to give Randy Waldrum the boot.

Erstwhile Super Eagles gaffer, Kadiri Ikhana has expressed delight with the team's newfound identity which according to him helped the girls to play with much tactical awareness.
In an exclusive chat with 234sportsng.com, Ikhana said the girls and the coaching crew should not be judged by its fourth-placed performance. ance at the just concluded WAFCON in Morocco.
" A lot has been said about the overall performance of the girls, but I strongly believe Super Falcons are still the best in Africa. I have seen much improvement despite losing to Morocco.
" Don't forget this is Africa and a lot of factors come into play when playing Africa. You saw what happened in the semi-final where two key players were sent off while we're allowed to go unpunished same foul.
' A team that held on with nine players is never a bad side as widely claimed by people. I understand we want to win but football doesn't go that go way. I believe the team played against the rest of the continent who just wanted a new winner after nine triumphs by Nigeria.
" NFF must be careful with his decision because the World Cup coming up next year. Kudos to the team," he concluded.
