Nigeria prodigy Durosinmi set to snub Brighton for Eintracht Frankfurt

Brighton target Rafiu Durosinmi is setting his sights on a move to the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt leading the chase.

The Seagulls have been tracking the 6ft 4ins striker who has scored nine goals for Czech side Viktoria Plzen this season, including six in nine league games.

Technically adept, the Nigerian has been impressive with his performances, showcasing his skill, athleticism, and a variety of finishes.

Brighton, always with an eye on forward planning and mindful of clubs continuing to circle around Evan Ferguson despite his new contract, are among the clubs to have checked on 20-year-old Durosinmi in recent months with Plzen prepared to sell for around £8.5million.

Stuttgart have also looked as they expect bids from Fulham for their striker Serhou Guirassy in January.

However, Mail Sport understands that Durosinmi has set his mind on a move to Eintracht Frankfurt believing that, as with France star Kolo Muani, they could give him the platform for the next step up in his career.

Durosinmi, who has drawn comparisons to former Arsenal strikers Kanu and Emmanuel Adebayor with his physique and style, only joined Plzen last January from second-tier Czech side Karvina.

He had previously played for the Box2box academy in Nigeria and has yet to be capped by his country.
