The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be battling it out against the Black Stars of Ghana in the playoff of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

 

The draw held in Douala, Cameroon was conducted by CAF Competitions Director Samson Adamu, assisted by CAF legends El Hadji Diouf and Emmanuel Adebayor.

 

The Black Stars will host the first leg while the return leg will be decided in Nigeria, with both matches expected to be played between Thursday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 29.

 

In other FIFA 2022 World Cup playoffs for Africa Zone, Eygpt will clash with Senegal, Cameroon tackle Algeria and Mali will lock horns with Tunisia, while the Democratic Republic of Congo will take on Morocco.

 

The five countries that will come tops over the two legs will qualify to represent Africa at the 2022 FIFA World Cup which holds between November 21 and December 18 in Qatar.
