Ngannou would rather fight Wilder than Joshua

Cameroonian Francis Ngannou is coming for all the big names in boxing following his fight with Tyson Fury.

The former UFC heavyweight champion made his professional boxing debut against Fury last month and he impressed.

The Cameroonian managed to drop Fury in round three and many people believed he won the fight, but 'The Gypsy King' claimed a controversial split decision victory.

Since then rumours have begun circulating about Ngannou's next fight in the sport, with Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn, and Deontay Wilder's trainer Malik Scott claiming there have been talks for potential fights with 'The Predator'.

Ngannou seems more keen on a clash with Wilder out of the two, as 'The Bronze Bomber' has expressed an interest in fighting in MMA as well as boxing.

As for Joshua, it may be too little too late, as Ngannou said on the Last Stand podcast: “My team received a text from Eddie and I think that's all.

"I met Eddie when I'd just separated with the UFC and I think it wasn't interesting for them because I never heard back until the other day.

"Until somebody else stepped in and took all the risk, and now he's around.”

And later, during quickfire questions, Ngannou said he believes a clash with Wilder is bigger than a fight with Joshua.

But, it is no surprise that Ngannou is keen on continuing to fight boxers, as he also revealed that he earned more against Fury than he did in his entire MMA career beforehand.
