Football fans are even more convinced Kylian Mbappe is moving to Real Madrid after a picture emerged of him packing up his stuff.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward is out of contract at the end of the season and looks set to leave the Ligue 1 champions on a free.

Real Madrid have been the favourites to land his signature for a long time - with Mbappe nearly moving to the Bernabeu last summer.

But now a deal appears to be closer than ever and his artist friend Ora Ito hinted that the Frenchman was already moving his stuff elsewhere.

A leaked Instagram photo showed Mbappe's stuff in boxes and he was tagged in the image alongside a praying emoji.

The artist Ora Ito, a personal friend of Kylian Mbappe, uploaded some pictures of the Paris Saint-Germain star's home on his Instagram story on Monday, showing that the player is preparing to move house.

In one of the images, the artist thanks the player for the gift of a signed shirt, and in the background there is a shelf with packed trophies, as well as cardboard boxes with newspaper covers about Mbappe.

The image suggests that the 23-year-old is already thinking about moving house and that he is taking his valuables with him. There is no doubt that the image uploaded by Ora Ito is of Mbappe's home.

In the photo, you can see perfectly the Kopa Trophy that the player won in 2018, a trophy that only he has because for the second edition of this award they changed the model. Mbappe has one trophy and the other winners, Matthijs de Ligt and Pedri, have another.

The photo uploaded by the artist, however, could be from another year, as the signed jersey is from the 2019/2020 season, although in another story he uploaded a photo with the World Cup and a poster of the star's comic book, published in October 2021.

Back in January, it was reported that the World Cup winner had agreed an £800,000-a-week deal with Real Madrid.

Mbappe has made no secret of his desire to join Real Madrid.

When discussing his desire to leave, he told RMC in October: "I asked to leave, because from the moment where I did not want to extend, I wanted for the club to receive a transfer fee so that they could bring in a quality replacement.

“This club has given me a lot, I have always been happy [during] the four years I have had here, and I still am.

"I said it early enough so that the club could react.

"I wanted everyone to come out of this stronger, that we leave hand in hand, to make a good deal and I respected that.

"I said, ‘If you don’t want me to go I will stay’.”

What seems clear is that Mbappe's future will be decided soon and that the Frenchman will announce his decision before the end of May.

PSG's final game of the season takes place on May 21, after which Mbappe is expected to announce his plans for next season.

Although reports in France have not ruled out a contract renewal, everything points to the fact that he will end up playing for Real Madrid after his deal at PSG expires on June 30.

Mbappe has been sensational for PSG this season, scoring 35 goals in 43 games.
