Former Member representing Bass a/ Jo's North Federal Constituency as well as past Chairman of Mighty Jets Football Club of Jos, Sulaiman Yahaya Kwande has promised to revamp key football activities and structures in plateau state if voted into office as  Chairman, of Plateau State Football Association.

He disclosed these to the media in Jos as part of his manifesto and expression of interest to contest for the post of Chairman, of Plateau Football Association.

According to the former member of the Nigeria Football Federation's executive committee, the need to grant local Government Pfa Chairmen the right to player ownership and clearance is key.

He equally added that he will ensure the incorporation of more football competitions into the state's football calendar ranging from the Governor's, Chairman's, and Senator's cups amongst other competitive platforms to keep the FA busy with progressive activities.

Sulaiman Yahaya Kwande equally promised to revamp Women and schools football on the Plateau amongst other important areas of need.

He decried the low presence of plateau-grown players in the National teams as a result of what he referred to as a distorted internal structure of managing the game in the state.

The date for the state PFA elections is yet unknown but official confirmation has it that Plateau United's General Manager, Pius Hemwan and Sulaiman Yahaya Kwande have officially indicated interest to contest the position against the current PFA chairman, Sunday Longbap.
