The latest news coming out of camp Barça is that the Catalan club has reached an agreement with Inter Milan for Jordi Alba. However, Alba is having none of it.

According to reports, the two clubs have reached a concrete agreement, but never got the consent of the player himself. Alba has yet to put pen to paper and is not going to.

It has been confirmed that the player is not keen on the move, and is happy at Barcelona. He also wants to avoid any possibility of jeopardizing his chances of being called up to Luis Enrique's World Cup squad. He sees Barcelona as his best option in that regard.

Alba's future has been under review at Barcelona after a significant drop in form and issues regarding a pay cut. The Spaniard has played over 400 games for the club since signing in 2012, winning five Copas del Rey, five League titles and one Champions League.

It looks like Alba wasn't the only fullback set to leave the Camp Nou for an Italian club. Initially, it was reported Sergiño Dest would end up at Manchester United. But according to Fabrizio Romano, Sergiño Dest is set to join AC Milan on loan, with a possible 20 million purchase option.
