‘It’s 1m per week’: Al-Hilal new offer to Osimhen

Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are reportedly now offering wages over €1m per week to Victor Osimhen, but he remains intent on signing a new Napoli contract.

The two previous offers were rejected by Osimhen and Napoli, but now the Saudi Pro League club have tabled a new improved offer.

The Nigeria international became the first ever African to be crowned Capocannoniere in Serie A with 26 goals in 32 Serie A games last season, on their way to the Scudetto.

His current contract runs to June 2025 and his agent has had several meetings with President Aurelio De Laurentiis to discuss an extension.

The sticking point would seem to be the release clause, which Napoli wants to set at a minimum of €150m, whereas Osimhen’s representatives are pushing for €110m.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Al-Hilal have still not given up on Osimhen and are offering him wages of over €1m per week.

Aged 24, Osimhen has no intention of moving to the Saudi Pro League at this stage of his career.

Napoli paid €75m plus bonuses to sign him from Lille in September 2020.
