Everton manager regrets Iwobi exit to Fulham - but admits 'the business model is changing.'

Everton manager Sean Dyche is not happy the club sold Super Eagles midfielder Alix Iwobi to Fulham.

The club have named just seven substitutes, including two goalkeepers for their game against Sheffield United.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Dyche said: 'It's not ideal. We're stretched.'

He added: 'The business model of the club is changing.

'We didn't want Alex (Iwobi) to leave but you have to be good at the reality of the situation.

Everton's limited substitutes come after the summer transfer window saw Alex Iwobi leave at the end of the transfer window for a fee of £22million to Premier League rivals Fulham.

Conor Coady also departed at the end of his loan spell to Leicester City, alongside Neal Maupay who returned to his former club, Brentford.

Dwight McNeil is on the bench for the Toffees, as well as Vitaliy Mykolenko and two goalkeepers Joao Virginia and Andy Lonergan.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is not fit enough to return, and Michael Keane and Lewis Dobbin are out injured.

Alex Iwobi has signed for Fulham from Everton in a £22m deal late on deadline day.
