Manchester United could be without Harry Maguire, Antony and Anthony Martial ahead of the second leg of their Europa League play-off against Barcelona.

The trio were all absent from United's 3-0 win over Leicester on Sunday at Old Trafford.

Former Foxes defender Maguire missed out with a knee injury, while Marital and Antony haven't played since the start of February.

It's been another injury hit campaign for Martial with the Frenchman currently nursing a hip problem with summer signing Antony still out with a muscular problem.

United play Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday and Erik ten Hag had hoped Antony, Martial along with Scott Mctominay would be fit.

The Scottish midfielder returned to action against Leicester having not played since United's 3-2 defeat to Arsenal on January 22.

United will be boosted ahead of the second leg with Marcel Sabitzer and Lisandro Martinez both available having been suspended for the first leg.

Barcelona are without two of their midfield stars with Gavi suspended and Pedri unavailable with a hamstring injury.

The Red Devils are in superb form and sit third in the Premier League, five points off leaders Arsenal.

United have only lost once in the Europa League this season against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.

A pulsating first leg finished 2-2 at the Nou Camp with Marcus Rashford again on the score sheet.

The second leg takes place on Thursday, March 23 at Old Trafford with the winners securing a place in the last 16.
