The iconic Oshodi Bridge is in the news again and it is for the right reasons as it has added another celebrity to its visitors' register.

The latest celebrity to pay pilgrimage to the once feared bridge is former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra who was on the ground with officials of the Chess in the Slum organisation led by the founder Tunde Onakoya.

Evra captured the historic moment in a one minute video shared on his Twitter handle on Saturday and he was all smiles as he was been hailed by fans who shouted ‘Evra Bus stop’ on top of their voices.

The fans' accolades highlighted the defensive capabilities of the French star which saw strikers finding it difficult to get past him in his active days.

Evra who later went on to meet the ‘street kids’ being taught chess and being given a new sense of life through the Chess in the Slum organisation. said he was impressed by the genius kids
