EPL side Wolves wants £20million Iheanacho

English Premier League side Wolves are considering a move for Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, it is claimed.

The Foxes striker is one of many City players who have been linked with a summer exit after Leicester's relegation to the Championship.

Iheanacho scored five goals in 28 Premier League appearances in 2022/23 and has scored just once so far this season as his future at Leicester remains up in the air. The Nigerian international has previously been linked with a move to Turkey with Besiktas claiming to have made a loan offer.

And now TalkSPORT claims that top-flight side Wolves are interested in signing Iheanacho before Friday's transfer deadline with the window closing at 11 pm. It is also claimed that Leicester valued him at £ 20 million.

Gary O'Neil's side are being tipped for relegation amid a period of uncertainty after previous boss Julen Lopetagui left the club on the eve of the season. Wolves currently sit 15th in the Premier League after winning just one of their opening three fixtures.

The 26-year-old joined Leicester from Manchester City in 2017 for a reported £24million. He has gone on to make over 200 appearances in six years at the East Midlands club.
