After playing hide-and-seek for weeks with the roster of players that would be deployed to face Nigeria in a two-legged World Cup playoff on March 25th in Kumasi and four days later in Abuja, the Ghana Football Federation has finally made a public a 27-man list for the crucial assignment.

234sportsNG.com can confirm that Mohammed Kudus and goalkeeper Richard Ofori are back in the Black Stars after missing the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon earlier this year due to injuries.

Coach Otto Addo in a brave move also included three debutants namely Denis Odoi and Elisha Owusu. Both players who play in Belgium were not born in Ghana but have Ghanaian roots through their fathers.

Odoi, a former Fulham defender has earned his first invitation, at age of 33 after playing for youth teams of Belgium and making one appearance for the senior side.

French-born Owusu is 24 and hasn’t tasted international football.

The third debutant is Heart of Oak defender Dennis Korsah who is enjoying an impressive in the Ghana Premier League.
