Enrique unhappy with Mbappe forced exile, striker may move to EPL on loan
Newly-appointed Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique is uneasy with Kylian Mbappé’s forced exile from the senior squad, according to a report from RMC Sport.
The French publication understands that the Spaniard knew he had to deal with the France skipper’s inextricable contractual conundrum.
Mbappé is entering his final year of contract with Les Parisiens. The club’s all-time record goalscorer has, so far, shown no indication he’d like to extend his deal with PSG or leave the club, in order to provide the Ligue 1 champions a commendable transfer fee.
RMC Sport adds that Luis Enrique “really wants” to see Mbappé play with his team.
According to RMC Sport, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has not changed his hardball stance regarding the Mbappé situation.
The Qatari chairman reportedly does not understand why Mbappé has refused to extend his deal with a view to a sale next summer.
Club insiders believe that Mbappé has agreed to join Real Madrid as a free agent once his contract expires with PSG. This is the reason why the France skipper is exiled from the playing squad and is training with the players PSG want rid of.
The French publication understands that PSG Sporting director Luís Campos is trying to ease tensions between the involved parties.
Meanwhile, Mbappe’s representatives have held secret discussions with Premier League clubs over a potential loan move this summer for the French superstar
