Endrick begs Mbappe to join Madrid but the French captain’s future is still unclear

Real Madrid could complete a 2024 double move for Brazilian teenager Endrick Felipe and Paris Saint-Germain talisman Kylian Mbappe.

17-year-old Endrick will complete his switch to Los Blancos in July, after turning 18, following an agreement being reached with Brazilian side Palmeiras back in 2022.

Los Blancos fans are excited about the arrival of another Brazilian attacker in Madrid with his final full campaign at Palmeiras ending with a league title, plus 11 league goals scored.

However, the major focus remains on what will happen with Mbappe, as he prepares to make a call on his future.

Real Madrid remain confident of completing a free transfer for the France captain but they reportedly want a decision on his intentions before the end of January.

If Mbappe does end up in Madrid in 2024, Endrick is confident they could form a deadly partnership at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

“If I can play with Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, or Kylian Mbappe it would be a very good thing”, as per reports from Diario AS.

“But Florentino Perez and the people around him know what is best for the club.”

Endrick also confirmed he was approached by Premier League giants Chelsea and Mbappe’s PSG, but his dream remains Real Madrid.

According to L’Équipe, Kylian Mbappé (25) would like to stay at PSG in the January transfer window. This is despite the France captain’s current contract at the Parc des Princes expiring in June 2024. The 25-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from the French capital but appears to be prepared to stay put for the time being.

Mbappé’s long-term future is still no clearer with several options on the table for the former Monaco attacker. However, PSG’s financial FairPlay limits mean they are not forced to sell the Frenchman. Therefore, making a potential January exit for the France International forward even less likely, especially when Mbappé would like to stay in France for now. On his 25th birthday, Mbappé had the opportunity to play with his younger brother Ethan for the first time in PSG’s 3-1 victory against Metz.

Most football fans expect Mbappé to join Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. It is no secret that the French forward dreams of one day playing for Los Blancos. However, this isn’t the only option available to Mbappé. PSG are still in continual talks with the France forward’s entourage over a new contract, L’Équipe reports. In addition, he also has the opportunity to extend for a further year if he chooses to.
