According to Sportico's analysis of his most recent Federal Election Commission Disclosure, Trump has reportedly earned an astonishing sum of 'as much as $555 million between January 2022 and April 14, 2023.' This massive income contributed to the polarizing former President's overall earnings of $1.2 billion during that period, more than doubling the $237 million he accrued in the calendar year 2020.
Eric Trump, the Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, expressed pride in the company's achievements, stating, 'We have the most spectacular and iconic assets anywhere in the world, and as a company, we have never been stronger.' The lucrative revenue from Trump's golf courses primarily comes from his ownership, along with "management or licensing interests," extending beyond mere membership and admission fees.
Leading the pack in terms of income generation was Trump's Doral, FL. course, raking in an enormous $159.3 million over the 15-month period, closely followed by Turnberry in Scotland, which brought in $52 million, and Bedminster, N.J., amassing $46.2 million.
In addition to his golf empire's financial success, Trump has also made headlines for his vocal support of LIV Golf, the Saudi-backed breakaway league. Trump's courses have been the venue for multiple LIV Golf events in recent years, including the upcoming $50 million season-ending team championship set to take place at Trump's National Doral Golf Club on October 20-22.
