Budapest 2023: Team Nigeria 4x400m women's quartet are potential finalist and medalist
Team Nigeria returns to the track Saturday evening with a 4x400m looking to salvage what has been a poor outing at the ongoing Budapest 2023 World Athletics Championship.
On paper, the team looks good to finish in the first three of heat one slated for 6.55 pm Saturday evening and at worst they could qualify as one of the fastest two losers.
With a season-best of 3:27.60 Nigeria has a far better time this year than most of its competitors in heat 1, only Netherlands 3; 25.66 has run faster than Nigeria in 2023.
Germany’s best this year is 3:34.02, Poland 3:29.31, Canada 3:29.21, France 3:29.60, Jamaica, 3:28.50, and Spain 3:29.90.
