Idris who is the current National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers made this known during the closing ceremony of the just-concluded Kauran Gwandu Badminton Championship in Abuja.

"We the stakeholders are aware of the crisis rocking the badminton federation and we are trying in our own capacity to resolve the problem"

The NUT President further expressed optimism that the issues would be resolved out of court adding that the aggrieved parties are ready to withdraw the case in court.

"I told you that we are not happy with what is happening. We are one family in badminton and that is the reason we want to settle the matter out of court. We want all the two parties to withdraw the case in court. I am aware that the matter is in two different courts but am sure we can settle it amicably".
