Ahmed Musa says he terminated his contract with Turkish club because he was owned six months’ salary

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has refuted media reports that he was sacked by Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor rather he claimed he walked away from the club.

Score Nigeria Reporter broke the news of Musa sack, it was then picked up by other newspapers including this medium.

But Musa in another report by Score Nigeria Reporter claimed he has not been paid for six months.

This week, the Turkish club announced his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

It was learnt that in December Ahmed Musa had submitted to the club a month’s notice of his decision to quit.

His contract was due to run out in June.

The 31-year-old forward can now move to another club as a free agent.
